Gripen Mission Trainer
Desktop software development and operational support for Saab's Gripen Mission Trainer simulator at the Embraer–Saab GDDN.
Overview
When I joined Embraer, I started on the Super Tucano simulator and was soon invited to work on Saab’s Gripen Mission Trainer at the Gripen Design and Development Network (GDDN) in Gavião Peixoto.
What I did
- Developed desktop software in C# with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and XAML.
- Diagnosed and solved operational issues in the simulator, including hardware, graphics and server problems.
- Worked in an international team using Scrum.
- Learned Model-Based Systems Engineering and Saab’s philosophy for developing supersonic military jets.
Skills developed
